Art4ROM supports educators with new and innovative methodologies
The training on Roma culture will build on all the materials produced during the initial phase of the project. It will reflect the theoretical framework built in the research phase.
The sessions will be theoretical and practical (a total of 3 days – 20 hours) and will be designed not only to transfer the knowledge of the methodology with its unique and detailed practical activities, but to build the necessary confidence that the teachers will require for themselves to use multi-art and creativity with their children.
The lectures will consist of 8 hours sessions touching upon pedagogy (e.g Learning difficulties), psychology (e.g Social, emotional and behavioural difficulties), communication techniques, leisure activities and the different art forms included in the methodology handbook.
The practical part consists of 12 hours in the school or other educational institution or association where a practical demonstration of the different activities will be performed.
Contents of the sessions will be explained in details in the Art4ROM Methodology handbook.
The Art4ROM initial training will be delivered in all the schools selected for the piloting.
The training will be given by MUS-E Hungary, MUS-E Napoli, ETP and Union Romani.
When the project will expire, the partnership will have an innovative, useful and unique training that can be offered to a wide education community reached through the dissemination and networking activities carried out during the project lifetime.
